Le Guérandais at the heart of the event

The Salon International de l'Agriculture 2025 has closed its doors, but for Le Guérandais, this edition will remain an outstanding memory, rich in exchanges, discoveries and commitments. From February 22 to March 2, we had the opportunity to share our passion and know-how with the public, professionals, as well as elected officials, all in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Here's a look back at the highlights of this year's event, which showcased both our history and our products!

Tastings in partnership with Euro-Toques

The culinary events, in collaboration with Euro-Toques, were particularly popular. Chefs such as Philippe Billon, Thierry Henriot and Nicolas Rota led tasting workshops featuring our Le Guérandais salt in gastronomic creations. These demonstrations revealed how our Fleur de Sel sublimates each dish, and offered a great opportunity to meet with cooking and salt-making enthusiasts.

Exchanges with regional players

One of the highlights of the show was the meeting with Christelle Morançais, President of the Pays de la Loire Region, who came to visit our stand. Alongside Laurent Seriat, our General Manager, she took part in impassioned exchanges on the major challenges facing our industry, including:

  • The impact of climate disruption on our production and our salt marshes,
  • The need to protect our marshes against marine submersion and the effects of climate change,
  • The recruitment challenges in our industry to ensure the transmission of know-how from generation to generation.

These exchanges highlighted the challenges we face, but also the importance of collaboration between local players, companies and institutions to preserve our profession.

Another highlight was the interview with our salt worker Benoît Guitton, who shared his expertise with RCF journalist Marie. This exchange highlighted our artisanal know-how and reminded us that our Le Guérandais salt is harvested by hand, respecting tradition and the environment.

Showcasing an exceptional salt

The show was also an opportunity to rediscover our exceptional salts to a wide audience, including chefs, artisans and the curious. It was a privileged moment to demonstrate the quality and commitment of Le Guérandais, a player who takes care to preserve its territory while producing high-quality products.
