The salt worker's trade: a passion for water
The salt workers of Guérande, the land of salt, are the heirs and guardians of an exceptional natural heritage. To be a Guérande salt worker is to be a master of a heritage: from the drop of water, extracting the grain of salt.
The salt workers have inherited their know-how from a 2000-year-old tradition passed down from generation to generation. An artisanal production technique that produces a quality salt while encouraging the blossoming of a raw nature with exceptional biodiversity.
